Corner Bakery Cafe to Open New Location in Crystal City Joins other Popular Dining Concepts on New Streetscape Washington, D.C.--Brinker International and Charles E. Smith Commercial Realty , a division of Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE:VNO) today announced that Corner Bakery Cafe will open a new location on Crystal’s City new “Main Street” on Crystal Drive. The new 3,189 square foot restaurant, opening early 2005, will be part of Crystal City’s new streetscape that features a powerful line-up of destination restaurants and eateries including Jaleo, Oyamel, Ted’s Montana Grill, McCormick & Schmicks, Neramitra Thai cuisine, Cold Stone Creamery, Caribou Coffee, and others. This new location will feature Corner Bakery’s signature menu of freshly baked breads, specialty sandwiches, soups, salads, pastas, and decadent sweets—for dining in, carry out, or catering. “Corner Bakery fits perfectly with the new Crystal City urban experience”, said Mitchell N. Schear, President of Charles E. Smith Commercial Realty. “I can see families coming off the bike path in Crystal City to stop at Corner Bakery for a sandwich on weekends—or office workers enjoying a Corner Bakery lunch in the park.” Corner Bakery will open in early 2005 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Corner Bakery is owned by Brinker International, the parent company of Maggiano’s Little Italy, Chili’s Grill & Bar, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, and other successful casual dining concepts.
